Understanding Your Internet Speed Test

Welcome to the Findhub.ca Internet Speed Test. This tool is designed to be clear and helpful. It shows how fast your connection is and explains what those results mean for everyday activities like video calls, streaming, and gaming.

How to Use the Tool

1. Initial check: On load, the tool securely detects your IP Address and Internet Service Provider to confirm your connection.
2. Start: Press the large red GO button.
3. Test run: The meter runs for about 12 seconds while measuring Ping, Download, and Upload.
4. Results: Final numbers appear below the speedometer in dedicated boxes.
5. AI analysis: A plain-English summary and a capability checklist appear at the bottom.

What the Numbers Mean

• Ping (Latency): Internet reaction time in milliseconds. Lower is better for gaming and smooth video calls.
• Download Speed: How fast you receive data. Affects 4K streaming, web loading, and large downloads.
• Upload Speed: How fast you send data. Important for HD video calls, cloud backups, and live streaming.
